JDC SEASON INFORMATION
How The Season Works
The JDC holds 6 seasons per year and each season consists of 8 weeks. Members compete by taking part in the structured routine on a weekly basis. The scores are officially logged using godartspro.com and through this entry the scores are automatically submitted to the JDC. These scores are then added to the Academy Order of Merit and members receive JDC coloured medals representing their skill level (calculated using their average score over the highest 6 throws in the 8 week season). Players also have the chance to take part in national events and competitions representing the Bottesford Darts Academy. In some events and competitions there can also be a cash prize.
What’s The Difference In Medal Colours?
Each medal colour represents the skill and ability of the player, which in turn, determines whether a player receives a handicap in games and competitions. Winning a JDC medal is a great achievement and players are proud to wear them regardless of their colour.
White Medal
Average: 0-150 Points
Blue Medal
Average: 600-700 Points
Purple Medal
Average: 150-300 Points
Red Medal
Average: 700-850 Points
Yellow Medal
Average: 300-450 Points
Black Medal
Average: 850+ Points
Green Medal
Average: 450-600 Points
JDC Handicap
The JDC handicap benefits those players still developing and working towards higher medal colours. It means that for academy and JDC competitions that we can put players in their handicap levels so the match has a more level feel.
